About Security Help Center
I originally created Security Help Center in early 2014, a literal decade ago from the time of this writing, Nov 14, 2024. Jeez. Does time really fly.
The primary purpose of this blog has always been to deepen my studies in cybersecurity, exploring not only the technical aspects but also the administrative and human elements of the industry. The human element is one of, if not, the most crucial aspects of not only cybersecurity, but almost any real-world engagement of any sorts.
I also created the blog to help share my ideas and experience with others. I believe that deep collaboration, with constructive disagreements and resolutions helps build not only teams, but strong cybersecurity programs. So I hope that we are able to share our ideas and differences and work on finding solutions that will help better protect us all.
I will share everything I have learned ranging from multiple topics in Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, Software Development, Department of Defense, NIST Frameworks, DFARs, HIPAA, System Administration, Network Adminsitration and more.
I hope you get something out of it, if even just one tiny bit.
